Reflection on Proposal

For the dissemination project my group worked on huddles between nursing staff about fall risk patients and post fall patients. We were able to find articles that supported huddles to give a greater outcome of less falls. In our group we split up the work on finding different articles and then we worked together when it came to the proposal each of use working on subcategories in the proposal. This is somethings that I saw as we went on with clinical my nurse and her CNA would talk in the morning after report about patients that were fall risk or had a recent fall. They would discuss factors they had in place as well as agreeing on when to check in with the patient to make sure everything was okay and if they needed help. We had a group chat where we could ask each other questions and stay up to date. We were also all in the same clinical group so we could ask each other questions or talk to the nurse educator on the floor. No issues came up for us we all worked together and agreed on most things. Overall this was a great group to work with for this project.

EBP II Final Project and Reflection

For our final project we were able to have a large copy of this poster printed out to bring to our clinical floor R2 for the staff to be able to look at. We had been in touch with the unit educator on R2 we also sent her a digital copy so they could have it on fine if needing to print out more or look at later on. She had said that our poster was very well laid out and eye catching with some great quick facts to think about when preventing falls. But do to COVID-19 related issues on the floor we were unable to get to talk to the staff more about the poster.
