I chose this subject as someone that I have looked to for guidance throughout my nursing school journey. They have always been there for me to as questions about anything that comes to mind that scared me for the future of my nursing career. This subject shows strong leadership characteristics and key qualities that come to mind with a well experienced nurse that does a great job with active listening and advocating for her patients. This subject has worked as charge nurse as well as a bedside nurse, both a formal and informal leader. I hope to have such a great connection with my patients as well as with staff being able to work together as a team.
